Division 1 Week 34 – Fairfield – 15 October

The division bowled 10½ pins under average at Fairfield with 27 200 games and 4 600 series. The high game went to Shane Bond 246, followed by Chris Hampshire 237, Chris Bateup 235, 227 and 219, with Chris Greaves at 225, Kristain Asquith 219, Andrew Parker, Alex Sole and reserve Neil Mills 218 and Neil Taylor and George Antaky 215. The series went to Chris Bateup 681, followed by Shane 633, Kris tain 610, Alex 601, Chris Hampshire 599, Neil Mills 595, Mark Steendam 593, George 588, Andrew 580 and Chris Greaves 576. Leaders Campbelltown Cougars struggled on the bye scoring only 8½ points but retained the lead as 2nd place Strathfield Sandbaggers lost a close game 10-9 to 3rd place Wetherill Park Guns. Wetherill Park Bandits won 15-4 and Lidcombe Lightning won 14-5 in 4th and 5th spot respectively. Mittagong Reapers won 15-4, Lidcombe Rumble 14-5 and Fairfield Bruises 10-9 to close out the round. The high game went to Bruises 973, followed by Reapers 955 and Campbelltown Rebels 940. The series went to Reapers 2718, Bandits 2712 and Lightning 2596.

Division 2 Week 30 – Wetherill Park – 15 October.

The division bowled 9½ pins over average at Wetherill Park with 46 200 games and 12 600 series. The high game went to Ray Vandine with 278, followed by Derek Kellard 258, Murray Walker and Les Dunn 256, Joe Wrublewski 248, Jared Kirkland 246, David Blevins 244, Harry Collins 244, David again 237, David Collins and Derek again 235, Wolf Miller 234 and Roy Ahn 233. Joint leaders Windsor Wanderers claimed the lead outright by 3 pins winning 14-5 while Campbelltown Alleygators won 11-8. Bowlarama Alleycatz retained 3rd spot with 13-6 win while Lidcombe Lyrebirds held on to 4th scoring 11½ points. Gosford Grenades scored 11½ while Tenpin City Slickers won 10-9. The high game went to Grenades with 1023 followed by Wanderers 986 and Tenpin City Bandits 982. The series went to Alleycatz 2821, Grenades 2798 and Wanderers 2796.

Division 3 Week 30 – Windsor – 15 October

The division bowled 1 ½ pins under average at Windsor with 18 200 games and 4 600 series. The high game went to Phil Spender 266, followed by Nathan Bracey 237, Richard Malcolm 234, Bob Quinn 224 and 220, Nick Frost 217, Matthew Morris 215, Matt Jeffress and Brad Cook 213, and Mark Goggin, Phil again and reserve Ben Torning 211. The high series went to Bob 650, Phil 648, Nathan 609, Mark Ellison 603, Matthew Morris 578, Matt Jeffress 571, Mark Goggin 574, Nick 540, Matt Burchell 539 and Glenn Luxford 526. The ladies high game went to Pam Russell 198, followed by Debbie van der Meer 187 and 176, with Marianne Keith on 179 in between. Leaders Strathfield Saints won 11-8, but had their lead cut to 1½ points as 2nd place Wetherill Park All Stars scored 14½ points. 3rd place Bowlarama Lollipops scored 12 on the bye while 4th place Fairfield Dragons lost 12-7 to Lidcombe Hells Angels. Campbelltown Strikers scored 11 ½ and Liverpool Lions won 11-8. The high game went to Saints 930, followed by Hells Angels 913 and All Stars 901. The se ries went to All Stars 2648, followed by Hells Angels 2569 and Saints 2548.
