Weekly Update: 11th February 2017

Division 1 Week 3 – Wetherill Park – 11 February

The division bowled 6 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 40 200 games and 100 600 games. The high game went to Glenn Rowland 248, followed by Shane Bond 246, Chris Hampshire 245, Ross Brown 244, Chris Greaves 243, Warren Cockerill 236, Peter Daly 232, Luke McMahon 230 and Mark Ward 229. The ladies high game went to Sarah Heath with 247 and 235, followed by Kylie Foster 230, Trudy Gould 222, Sarah again 214, Janelle Crass 213, Meaghan Curtis and Janelle again 197, Meaghan again 194 and Evelyn O’Donnell and Jodie Terry 192. The high series went to Sarah 696, followed by Janelle 586, Meaghan 574, Trudy 568, Kylie 559, Evelyn 519, Jodie 515, Kayleen watts 509 and Theresa Boyle 506. The high male series went to Mark 672, followed by Chris Hampshire 667, Glenn 665, Josh Vanderkolk 661, Chris Greaves 647, Garry Ridgeway 636, Paul Mifsud 612, Peter 607 and Warren 601.

Leaders Tenpin City Reaper Crew won 15-4 and extended their lead to 7 points, as 2nd place Gosford Gremlins lost 10-9 to Bowlarama Hotshots and dropped to 3rd spot. Campbelltown Cougars won 16-3 to move from 3rd to 2nd and Wetherill Park Bandits won 15-4 to move up to 4th spot. Wetherill Park Guns scored the biggest win with 17-2 moving up to 5th spot. The high game went to Hotshots 1035, followed by Guns 1031 and Cougars 1011. The series went to Guns 2983, Bandits 2905 and Cougars 2879.

Division 2 will bowl next week.

Division 3 Week 3 – Wetherill Park – 11 February

The division bowled 5 pins over average with 15 200 games and 4 600 series. The high game went to Matt Jeffress 223, followed by Nathan Bracey, Brad Cook and reserve Harry Collins 222, Nick Frost 216 and 212, William Scheers 210, Matt again 209, William again 206 and Matt Smith and Harry again 205. The series went to Harry 622, followed by Matt Jeffress 613, Nick 610, Nathan 600, Matt Smith 579, William 562, Brad 557, Peter Mills 545 and Mark Goggin 542. The ladies high game went to Debbie Liddell 207, followed by Debbie van der Meer 193, Abigail Keith Wheatley 178, 163 and 162, with Debbie van der Meer in between with 169 and 164. They were followed by Christine Plunkett and reserve Louise Kelly 161, Julie Strickland 158, Beryl Goggin 155 and Jasmine Hall, Jane Austin, Julie again twice and Christine again all on 151. The series went to Debbie van der Meer 526, Abigail 503, Julie 460, Christine 458, Debbie Liddell 440, Janine Hendry 434, Jasmine 425, Jane 419 and Kerry Horvat 415.

Leaders Lidcombe Looneys won 12-7 to increase their lead to 6 points as 2nd place Wetherill Park All Stars won 10-9, but dropped to 4th place as Campbelltown City Dragons went from 7th to equal 2nd scoring 17½ points, and Gosford Giants won 14-5 to join them on 2nd spot. Bowlarama Lollipops won 11-8 to round off the results. The high game went to Lollipops 922, followed by All Stars 892 and Giants 881. The series went to All Stars 2543, Strathfield Saints 2497 and Lollipops 2494.
