Division 1 Week 14 – Wetherill Park – 13 May
The division bowled 6 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 52 200 games and 17 600 series. The high game went to reserve Darrin Honeysett 279, followed by Lachlan Gurney 256, Ross Brown 248, Phil Meurant 246, reserve Alex Sole and Chris Hampshire 245, Ross again 243, Paul Mifsud 240 and Reece Hines 235. The series went to Darrin 726, Ross 687, Shane Bond 663, Lachlan 647, Reece 641, Garry Ridgeway 639, Alex 635, Luke McMahon and Darren Topolski 634 and Wolf Miller 628. Leaders Tenpin City Reaper Crew won 14-5 and extended their lead to 17½ points as Wetherill Park Bandits lost 14-5 to 3rd place Wetherill Park Guns cutting the gap between them to 1 point. Campbelltown Cougars closed the gap to 3rd winning 16-3, while Rooty Hill Rogues won 12-7 and Bowlarama Hotshots won 11-8. The high game went to Cougars 1059 & 1038, Guns 1030, Reaper Crew 1024 & 1006, Bandits 1018, Hotshots 1003 and Rooty Hill Roos a pair of 1001’s. The series went to Reaper Crew 2998, Hotshots 2 965and Cougars 2964.
Division 2 Week 14 – Strathfield Superbowl – 13 May
The division bowled 1 pin under average at Strathfield with 38 200 games and 9 600 series. The high game was shared by Graeme Pulbrook and Ray Vandine 257 each, Ray Dillon 256, reserve Peter Adams 247, Daniel Prince and Chris Prince 234 each, Peter again 229, reserve Steve Hawes 226, Jared Kirkland 223, Rob Mitreski 221 & 220 and Rob Vamvas 219. Leaders Wetherill Whisperers won 15-4 and extended their lead to 4½ points as Rooty Hill Rhinos won 12-7 against 3rd place Strathfield Sharks, dropping them down to 4th spot. Strathfield Tigers took over 3rd place winning 14-5, Rooty Hill Rumble won 12-7, Bowlarama Alleycatz scored 10½ on the bye and Western Warriors won 9-8 against an under strength Campbelltown Alleygators. The high game went to Rhinos 953, Whisperers 935 and Tigers 934. The series also went to Rhinos 2728, Tigers 2727 and Whisperers 2660.
Division 3 Week 14 – Wetherill Park – 13 May
The division bowled 9 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 20 200 games and 5 600 series. The high game went to Matt Smith with 259 & 246, followed by Nathan Bracey 236, Bob Quinn and Glenn Luxford 235, reserve Bob Cohen 233, Les Dunn 224, Brad Cook 222 and Nick Frost 221. The series went to Matt 664, followed by Bob Quinn 630, Nick 616, Brad Cook 616, Bob Cohen 606, Matt Jeffress 592, Dav e Anderson 569, Kain Creed 558, Nathan 555 and Glenn and David Collins 553. The ladies high game went to Debbie van der Meer 191, Maxine Jones 190, Ros Kirkland 179, Maxine again 177, Ros again 176, Debbie again 172, Jasmine Hall 169, Ancita Levy 168 and Julie Strickland 167 & 166. Leaders Lidcombe Looneys won 10-9 against 2nd place Strathfield Saints extending their lead to 10 points. Campbelltown Dragons continued their charge winning 16-3 against 4th place Gosford Giants and are now ½ point behind 2nd place. Rooty Hill Pikachoos also won 16-3 and moved up to 4th spot while Wetherill Park All Stars scored 14 points and Rooty Hill Strikers scored 12. The high game went to All Stars 995, Strikers 927 and Windsor Bushrangers 919. The series went to All Stars 2687, Strikers 2630 and Looneys 2596.
