Div 1 Week 27 – Wetherill Park – 7 September

The division bowled 7 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 33 200 games and 10 600 series. The high game went to reserve Ryan Chi 255, George Antaky 249, Garry Graham 247, reserve Ecky Liem 243, Phil Meura nt 237, Allan Taylor 236, Chris Greaves 232, new reserve Kyle Jarvis 231, reserve Howard Goss 228 and Phil again 225. The series went to Ryan 691, George 661, Phil 653, Rob Mitreski 633, Garry 632, Brett Foster 627, Chris 612, David Chi 611, Wolf Miller 606 and Allan Taylor 603, with a special mention for Adam Burrows with a 599. The ladies high game went to Samantha Batten 208, Carol Stenstra 199, Melinda Murphy 198, Amy Martin 195, reserve Lisa Love 192, Samantha again 189, Carol again 183, Jodie Terry 181, reserve Marilyn Wentworth-Perry 180 and Jodie again 175. Leaders Bowlarama Blackjacks won 12½ - 6½ but had their lead cut to 15 as Tenpin City Dark Knights won 14-5. 3rd place Bowlarama Gorillas lost 10-9 to Gosford Grenades while 4th place Wetherill Park Guns closed within 12 points of 3rd place winning 12-7. Strathfield 5 of a Kind won 11-8 and Rooty Hill Rogues scored 16 on the bye. The high game went to Blackjacks 970, 5 of a Kind 969 and Gorillas 966. The series went to Dark Knight 2839, Gorillas 2779 and Grenades 2773.

Div 2 Week 28 – Mittagong Highlanders – 7 September.

The division bowled 7½ pins under average at Mittagong with 8 200 games and 1 600 series. The high game went to Madison McCooey 235 and 206, Kathy Compton 203 and 189, Maria Wrublewski also 189, Angela Francis 186, Elaine Llewelyn 185, Ros Dowton 183, Angela again 182 and Tracy Hodgson 178. The series also went to Madison 603, followed by Kathy 562, Angela 537, Maria 503, Marianne Keith 486, Tracy 485, Ros Dowton 475, Ros Kirkland 471, Kay Ginger 457 and Sandra Burchall 453. For the men, the high game went to Ray Dillon 222, Bob Cohen 218, Kyle Keith-Wheatley 209, John Barrett 204, Richard Malcolm 201, Tony Sutton and Nathan Bracey 198, Mark Foster 195 and Michael Hey nsdyk and Kevin Fox 194. The series went to Bob 574, John 568, Michael 563, Ray 554, Kevin 553, Nathan 527, Richard 523, Phil Isaac 518 and Ian Compton 515.

Leaders Rooty Hill Rhinos won 15-4, stretching their lead to 44½ points as 2nd place Lidcombe Lynx lost 5½ - 13½ to 4th place Rooty Hill Strikers with Lynx dropping to 3rd and Strikers moving into 2nd place. 3rd place Bowlarama Alleycatz lost 13-6 to Western Force and dropped to 4th spot while 5th place Strathfield Vikings also lost 11-8 to Strathfield Sharks and dropped to 6th spot. Campbelltown City Sixers won 17-2 to move up from 6th spot to 5th with positions 2 to 7 separated by only 14 points. Wetherill Park Rebels won 15-4, Rooty Hill Explosion won 11-8 and Wetherill Park Cobras won 12-7. The high game went to Sixers 871, Force 859 and Rhinos 855. The series also went to Sixers 2545, Force 2447 and Rhinos 2369.
