Div 1 Week 22 - Campbelltown City Bowl - 30 July

 

The division bowled 7 pins over average at Campbelltown City with 18 200 games and 5 600 series. The high game went to reserve Peter Daly 252, Jared Kirkland 246 and 236, Daniel Prince a pair of 234’s Ray Vandine 227, Dave Stenstra 224, Robert Quinn 221 and 210 and reserve Nathan Penrose 209. The series went to Jared 642, Daniel 639, Bob 636, Peter 621, Ray 617, Steven Simmonds 576, Nathan 575, Dave 572, Brad Cook 561 and Chris Prince 560. The ladies high game went to Hayley van Bueren 213, Rebbeccanne 212, Helen Cios 206 and 187, Ros Kirkland 185, Rebbeccanne again 184, Margaret Rogers 172, Janice Edwards 167, Margaret Abdilla 166 and Margaret again 165. The series went to Helen 557, Rebbeccanne 541, Hayley 490, Margaret Abdilla 488, Margaret Rogers 479, reserve Cindy Bonaccorso 471, Debbie van der Meer 470 and Ros Kirkland 469.

Leaders Gosford Grenades lost 13-6 to Wetherill Park 5 of a Kind but maintained their 1½ points lead as 2nd place Campbelltown Odd Bodz also lost 12- 6 to 3rd place Campbelltown Clowns. Tenpin City Dark Knights won 14-5 in the other match. The high game went to Clowns 1017 and also scored 967, as did Odd Bodz while 5 of a Kind scored 939. The series went to Clowns 2885 setting a new high for the season, Odd Bodz 2756 and 5 of a Kind 2703.

 

Div 2 Week 22 - Windsor Bowl - 30 July

 

The division bowled 1½ pins over average at Windsor with 14 200 games and 1 600 series. The high game went to Al Wilson 268, Ecky Liem 243, Michael Pipe 222, Al again 221, Mark Goggin 216, Harry Collins 215, Josef Taduran 212, Franck Hervouet 207 and Scott Lewis 205. The series went to Al 676, Ecky 576, Josef 575, Michael Pipe 564, Jim Vlahos 554, Harry Collins 551, Scott 541, Nathan Bracey 534 and Robert Ward 529. Leaders Tenpin City Psychos lost 11-8 to Wetherill Park Wyldkatz while 3rd place Rooty Hill Rhinos moved up to 2nd place on win percentage beating 2nd place Wetherill Park Warriors 15-4, dropping them down to 4th spot. Wyldkatz moved up to 3rd place. Rooty Hill Sandbaggers won 12-7 while Western Force won 14-5. The high game went to Western Force 949, Rhinos 934 and Wyldkatz 926. The series went to Rhinos 2627, Sandbaggers 2580 and Force 2549.

 

Div 3 Week 22 - Tenpin City - 30 July

 

The division bowled 1 pin under average at Tenpin City with 11 200 games and 1 700 series. The high game went to Phil Meurant 257, followed by reserve Matt Burchell 239, 236 and 226, Vince Granturco 219, John Fox 216, Rohan Burchall 215, Matt Jeffress 209, Josh Christou and Allan Taylor 201 and reserve Ryan Twist 200. The series went to Matt Burchell 701, Phil 599, Allan 566, Vince 538, Mat Anderson 533, Rohan 524, John Dowton 516, John Fox 515, Josh 513 and Peter Prince 496. The ladies high game went to Elaine Llewelyn 175, Kay Ginger 169, Sandra Stanshall 168, Kay again 165, Louise Morgan 161, Sandra Burchall 160, Ros Dowton 155, Elaine again 153 and Maxine Jones and Kay again 152. Leaders Windsor Nighthawks lost 15-4 to Campbelltown Chihuahuas but remained in front by 2 points. 2nd place Wetherill Park Rebels drew 9½ each with Rooty Hill Firebirds and dropped to 3rd spot as 3rd place Strathfield Mis-Splits won 15½ - 3½ to move into 2nd spot. Rooty Hill Rollers won 12-7 while Campbelltown Cougars extended their win streak to 5 winning 14-5. The high game went to Mis-Splits 865, Cougars 837 and Chihuahuas 834. The series went to Cougars 2428, Mis-Splits 2398 and Chihuahuas 2266.
